Hosted by the Estonian partner, Museum of New Art, the meeting focused on the study and analisys of the city of Parnü waterfront problems and of its surroundings. Articulated on site visits and meetings with local administrators, the WaRe second meeting ‘core’ was the International Conference entitled “New Breath of Waterfront Cities” that allowed an in-depth to the Parnü case study but also an exchange of experiences among the partners.

Parnü is in search to identify the best solution for the regeneration of its historical waterfront, with many important traces of great architectural value of the 1930s, but interventions and plans needs to take into account its regular exposition to severe floodings. The regeneration will also involve the remains of the former Soviet regime industrial zones.
